Hi all,
As this coming weekend is the anniversary of when my mother in law passed, my wife is feeling pretty down.
Any of you who would be willing to drop her a note to cheer her up some, and let her know you care, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

So, we got back my MIL's will today saying we sent it to the wrong place.
I had, of course, sent it to the place on the Mass.gov website of where to send it.
But, apparently you've got to take it to the court in person, which isn't on the site.
Of course the site, written my lawyers also says "you should get a lawyer to do that".
It is an uncontested will with almost no assets. Why, other than to help the bar association, should we pay for a lawyer?
I'm most upset because it made my wife upset.
Sad.

The memorial for my mother in law went well today.
My wife, far braver then I, stood up and spoke about her mother to the fairly large crowd. I had Julytooth read my list.
I can't say I enjoyed dealing with my mother, but at least she did say "sorry for all the bad things that have happened between us". That may not be much, but it's something.
I'm glad there were a lot of people there. It's good so many people remember Jean.
My wife's family has been very good, and it was very nice of her cousins to let so many people come back to their house.
At some point, I misplaced my camera again, but I'm sure it will turn up.
I'll write more later. Now, off to bed.
