Of course, each morning we woke early and got going without problem.

Maybe the Travelodge wasn’t the nicest place, but it was nice enough.

But, not very scenic.

And Wednesday there were some hints of blue sky.

But, off we went.

Our first stop was the Dromberg Stone Circle.

It is very scenic.

The muddy path was too long for Uncle Rich and Aunt Marge.

So, they waited by the car.

It was some small roads to get there.

Then onward towards Kerry. We did stop at Bantry bay to look around some.

Then, a gift shop in Glengariff.

After that, we crossed the mountains, which have a very nice view.

The way through the mountains have some tunnels I didn’t remember from 1996.

Still, some nice rest areas there.

When we got to Killarney, we found a pub my wife wanted to try.

Then, off to the hotel.

Behind the hotel, along the side of the lake was an old castle my wife and I went to explore.

The water was dark and looked deep.
