I won't lie, it's been bad.
Very difficult to eat. Very little energy.
Had to put something to sit on in the shower to even wash.
I haven't read anything on line in more than a week.
I did talk with the doctor yesterday who had the important insight of "you should cut out your blood sugar medicine if you're not eating".
Which was different from the "keep taking all your medications" I was told before.
But, I've felt better since and managed more food today than the last week. Maybe combined.
Most of my day is sitting in my chair with a blanket over me.
My evenings are the same with the light off.
But, I am feeling better. Friday was the worst and there have been small improvements since.
Today was the biggest step so far, which is why I'm at the computer.
Not much of a birthday for my wife today, but I do very much appreciate all the help she's been.
I honestly don't know if I'd have gotten through it without her.

Today is my sister’s birthday. About 100 minutes from when I write this, she will be 71 years old.

I think I sent her flowers. I certainly got billed for flowers. But, I didn’t get a confirmation email that they have been sent. So, I’m not sure.
I’m hoping that if the florist took my money that they will delivery the flowers…

Of course, my sister has not communicated with me in any way since 1994. So, there is going to be a level of uncertainty about her getting those flowers, email or not.

I hope she gets them. Where she lives it was -60 last week when you take wind chill into account. (It really doesn’t mater C or F at that point, does it?)
So, maybe some flowers would offset the cold?

I hope so. And, hope she has a good birthday.
