It’s been a cold week. Monday morning there was frost on my car.

This was sad as I hadn’t brought out plants in from the balcony yet. But, we did that Tuesday night.

Somehow the cold morning resulted in my car losing a hubcap…

For reasons not clear to me the cold weather resulted in very bad traffic, even on the back roads I usually use to avoid it.

Tuesday was a bit better.

But, traffic was not better.

You know it is never good when you’re stuck in bad traffic an news helicopters are circling up ahead of you.

It turned out a large truck had rolled over into the middle of the highway and exploded. I didn’t get photos of that…

I do wonder about our new quality manager if he parks like this.

Proving our freezer maker caused the problem with the bolts that weren’t tight meant going through a lot of old quality records this week.

Wednesday I went to my doctor for a checkup. I’m old and fat. But, I needed to pay to hear that. At least I got to go in late that morning.

Of course, by the time I got to work, every road leading to our manufacturing building was under construction at the same time leading to a delay in my getting there.

The machines were happy to see me.

My boss brought everyone sweets from China.

They were strange…

Driving home from work Friday there was some snow.

No, it’s up there.

You can see it coming down lit by the setting sun.

Dinner at game night was soup.

Then, there was cake.

Our first game was one where you’re on a crashing space ship and some of the players are trying to kill the others…

It’s a game that comes with a "voting gun" to use to accuse folks of being the bad players.

I thought it was Josh (in the middle), and shot him with the voting gun.

But, it was these two.

I got banished below decks for it, but we managed to repair the ship anyhow…

Then we played a domino then dice game.

Today I went off to get my hair cut.

Then we went off to a nice birthday lunch with our friends who host game night.

I got a new phone in September, so my wife decided to take over my old phone as it is newer than the one she had. (I did offer to get her a new one…)
So, off we went to the store to update the phone and plan.
