Tuesday when I left for work the moon was going out.



After 20 years of shows, the average Phoenix Swords show location is in New Jersey.



The 2022 year average is still in New Jersey, but in the north.



I mentioned how Google messed with us on directions last weekend. This shows the difference between the route it took us Friday vs Saturday.


And, this shows the "adjustments" to the faire site.


The robot at the supermarket has started wearing a hat. Maybe due to fall weather?


This is the updated travel reference on our going to the moon.


Daylight savings means I drive home at night. This is going on Tuesday vs the same view Saturday afternoon.



The parking lot when I leave changed a lot too.


For my birthday someone I consider a nemesis wished me a happy birthday. I’m glad he no longer works where I do. And, I notices he hasn’t been staying at jobs very long…


My wife did get me a nice balloon.


And, a nice cake.



Friday was fame night and Jesse had two boxes of games to unpack.


We started by playing "Hand to Hand Wombat" that involves you trying to build pyramids of parts while you can’t see.


And, everyone has to work in the same box with just one hand. So, a game for friends.



I’m told it was fun to watch.



We then tried a dragon game.




Saturday was nice day and we decided to do something we haven’t done in years, we went to the movies….


It was a nice day out.

What does supermarket robot do? With or without hat.

The supermarket tells folks the robot is looking for spills on the floor that folks might slip on and get hurt.

But, the robot does not have many cameras looking at the floor.
It does have a lot of cameras that look horizontally at different heights.
And, it tends to move down the length of the store with those cameras pointed down the aisles.
So, I think it is looking for shoplifters as I don’t think it would see things on the floor well with a horizontal camera 1.8 meters off the ground.
But, what do I know?
I just design robots for a living…

Oh, wow! That sounds like incredibly thin veiling! Even disregarding design, how much spillage would there need to be to justify a whole robot?
