Last Sunday we met our friends for brunch at a local place. It was very nice.


I tested our Christmas presents from our cousin.


Monday was my wife’s birthday. We had planned to do things, but there was an ice storm. So, the only thing we did was I walked to the store for food.


My wife likes a kind of cake that used to be common, but is hard to find these days. I couldn’t find the double layer version she likes, but could find two single layers.
So, I assembled her favorite cake.


I had to work Thursday and Friday. It’s still dark when I commute, but closer to being in the light.


Saturday we went to the local art museum. They’re remodeling, so they have a new secret entrance.


It’s not time for the flora in winter yet, but there were still some holiday plants and decorations out.




I used to be a Worcester Hunt, but now live one town over.


Today was our first sword practice of the year.

Our landlord has a new sign over the garage we rent.


It was above freezing, but I’m still glad we had the big heater going.


It seemed to be "teach your children to sword fight" day.


But, lots of folks were there and we got a lot of work done.
