Saturday afternoon we drove over to my wife’s cousin’s house and picked up her Aunt and Uncle.

We drove into the airport at Boston and waiting for our flight.

This photo I put up on facebook got a lot of feedback. Her aunt is not looking at her. But, I see why folks thought that.

About 7:30 at night we took off.

About midnight we were halfway across the ocean.

The folks sitting in front of our aunt and uncle were very loud and got into a fight with the folks in front of them. But, what can you do?

It did not take long to get through customs in Ireland.

While I went to get the car, the others waited in the restaurant/bar. My wife liked the name of the drink they offered.

I upgraded our car to a nicer one.

Then, still only about the time of sunrise, we drove off to the Cliffs of Moher.

It was only just above freezing, windy, a bit rainy and VERY foggy. The camera sees through fog better than I do. I could only see maybe 6 meters at the most.

We all got lost in the fog. The cliffs are 200 meters tall and we couldn’t see them. I was worried we’d fall off without ever seeing them.
So, back to the car we went.

As we drove away we came across where a bus had hit a biker wearing a bright yellow jacket. If you can’t see people in bright yellow, the fog is bad.

And, it was bad.

We found the heritage village at Bunratty was open, so we went there.

Sadly, the village was open, but almost nothing inside the village was. So, we could walk around and look at the outside of the buildings, but that was about it. Not much fun since they charged us full admission…
