The police records in Shrewsbury are odd. A man runs off from a hospital next to the lake, jumps in the lake. The police wait by the shore for two hours for him to get tired, then "escort" him back into the hospital. Weird.

The app for tracking my approaching lunch at work is not super accurate, but sometimes is pretty close.

The goslings are getting bigger, but don’t come as close to the building now that most folks are eating lunch outside.

Last Saturday we went off to the funeral for our friend Susan’s dad. (Susan is one of the monthly game night hosts.) As Jesse, her husband, has been my friend for 45 years there were lots of folks we know in attendance. The weather was cold and raining for less than a month to the start of summer.

On the way home we stopped at the mall and saw that Mandalorian movie. It was OK.

The storm shook loose a lot of stuff in the trees.

Sadly, the pollen came back fast. It’s bad enough I’ve got to use my wipers ever time I start the car to get it out of my way.

I don’t normally read the Mirror in the UK, but I saw they agree with us about the best service station in the UK.

Monday I went and got my eyes checked as related elsewhere.

My vision is worst in bright light. Just like my drive in every morning.

Many of the folks were I work have taken to eating outside at lunch. I’ll join them once I don’t have to clean pollen off my car every day.

My company is mad this story got out. They sent out a "don’t talk to reporters about this". Like I’d know how to do that… My office would be one window to the left on the bottom floor.

There was a debate about if I could grow lithops in my window at work. But, I think now that it is summer it would be too shady. They take a LOT of light…

When I set off in the morning the sun is just crossing the hill on which we live. I do like looking over the valley at sunrise.

I keep trying to find better ways home in the rush hour traffic. Friday I tried the bottom one and it seemed OK. I made a few wrong turns as I don’t use the GPS while driving, but still did average time. So, if I iron out those kinks, it should be faster.

Today we step late and then went to a noon movie to see "The Sheep Detectives". It’s been out a while, so not a lot of folks in the theater. We liked it. Not a super hard mystery, but it’s for sheep…

After the movie we went to lunch at a place with a lot of police cars. Turns out there was a sale on used police cars and folks came from a ways away to get them. It was weird seeing them out on the highway later with stickers over the police symbols and driving badly…

Of course you don’t need to be an ex-police car to park badly as the folks at the supermarket proved.

I was curious how the Mandalorian movie was. It didn't look too exciting, so I wasn't expecting anything different.

AND BAD PARKING is everywhere... I can't stand it. I don't understand how people can do that and not think about the person that has to get in the other car!
