Doing laundry today the dryer had two pennies right next to each other by the door.
My first thought was it was like the coins on the eyes of a dead person.
So, I wonder if someone I know has died, or will soon.
I’ve got one cousin on deathwatch now. So, who knows?

As it deals with plague, historical and modern, I’ve been re-reading it.

Today I reached a part where someone from America is complaining to one of the main characters that they are upset they are being quarantined.

“In America, nobody would dream of telling you where you can or can’t go.”
And over thirty million Americans died during the Pandemic as a result of that sort of thinking, he thought.

Yeah...
Let’s hope the book was wrong with that prediction...
