Swiss approved lunch

On Thursdays I like to drive to the Whole Foods down the road for lunch.
I like their sandwiches and they have a good hot food bar.
But, it is expensive, which is why I only go once a week.
Several other folks from work go more often, and it has been noticed I only
go on Thursday.
The Winter Wizard, our engineer on loan from Switzerland, asked me about it
the other day and I explained my reasons. He agreed they were sound.
We are working on putting him in charge of testing, specifications and
procedures as he is very good at that stuff.
Because of the trip and all the fall out, I didn’t go yesterday. I decided
to go today instead.
“I’m going to Whole Food’s today,” I told the Wizard. “Yesterday I got in
late and had too many meetings in the afternoon. So, I will go today to
make up for it.”
“Good,” he said. “That makes sense.”
“I’m glad you approve as you’re doing specifications and procedures.”
“I don’t think you would need my approval,” he said. (After all, he works
for me, not the other way around.)
“We’ll see,” I said.
I was there at the market going through the hot food bar when I ran into my
boss.
“What are you doing here?” he asked. “It’s not Thursday!”
“I have approval from specifications and procedures,” I said, pointing to
the Wizard.
“It’s true,” the Wizard said. “He cleared it with me this morning.”
“Oh, OK then,” my boss said and went back to picking out his food.
“How did you know that would happen?” the Wizard asked.
I just smiled.
