I dreamed my wife and I were at Disneyland with some other friends and I needed to go to the bathroom.
The one near where we were was full, so I walked past to another and found it was full as well.
I kept going down the length of the park trying each one I came to, but not having any luck.
I got to the very back of the park that had a kind of New Orleans theme going and was told there was a rarely used bathroom up on the second floor of one of the jazz club places.

I went up and found what was clearly a closet, but with a toilet in one corner. I went to use it and found it had a very complex child’s seat on it. I tried to take it apart so I could use it, but it required tools I did not have.
I left the small room and saw a staff bathroom near it, and used that.

I walked the length of the park back to where my wife and friends were waiting.
“Where are your pants?” My wife asked me.
I looked down and saw my pants were missing. I had been walking across the park in my underwear.
“I must have left them in the bathroom,” I said.

I crossed the park again to the bathroom I had finally used. When I got to the Jazz Club I found it closed.
I knocked.
A woman opened the door only enough to speak to me.
“We are closed,” she said. “Come back tomorrow when we’re open.”
“I left my pants in your bathroom.”
“Oh, we were wondering who owned those,” she said. “You can come in and get them.”

As I walked up to bathroom where I left them, the route was harder than I remembered. It was like there were fronts of buildings over an atrium in the center of the building, and I had to walk along the slanted roofs of the building.
“I must really have had to go to the bathroom not to have noticed this,” I said to myself.
I did get there and grabbed my pants.

As I made my way back to the stairs, my foot slipped and I slid off the roof into the center space of the atrium.
I spun in the air and did a “super-hero” type landing on the ground floor.
I looked up and saw the park manager standing there watching me.
“Just needed my pants,” I said, and walked past him out into the street.
It seemed very strange to me the park manager would be in a closed part of the park when the park was still open and suspected my fall had been forced by employees mad I used their bathroom. They had arranged the manager to be there to witness the “unfortunate accident” of a customer using the wrong facilities.
But, I hadn’t been hurt in the fall.
I kept an eye out as I walked back to the others. I wasn’t sure if the employees would be happy having failed.
“I think we should go now,” I said to my wife when I caught up.
My wife looked at me, still standing in my underwear holding my pants, and nodded.
Dream ends

I will say that this amusement park has shown up in other dreams and often represents a Disney property, even if it doesn’t look anything like any of the ones I’ve been to.
It’s much closer to some of the smaller amusement parks that were around in this area when I was younger.
Canobie Lake park, Whalom Park, Lincoln park. There used to be a fair number of them about.
And, the look and feel of this one that shows up in my dreams a lot is much closer to them to a Disney park.

The toilet in the closet was like one of those nesting dolls. Every time I took off a piece, there was another piece waiting inside of it. That’s why I gave up and found another.

Not at all sure what was rattling around my brain to go together into this dream.
Very strange.

Huh. I am thinking spare pants might be a reassurance in the future for all of us. When I have dreams like that it means "get up and don't pee in the bed!"

Lucky you. Usually it's a bad idea in a dream where one is seeking a toilet to actually use the toilet. You might wet the bed.
