My precognition

The thing about my precognition is it is so often right and yet so totally useless.

Saturday one of our friends from the sword troupe is getting married. When I got his invitation last month, it was just before we left for Wales.

"I am very worried I’ll lose this," I said. "So, I’m going to enter all of the details into the computer, so if the invitation goes missing we’ll still have all the information."

Today I went looking for the invitation. And, as expected, I couldn’t find it.
So, I opened the file in my calendar I had made.

It hadn’t saved.

So, I was sitting here as annoyed and mad at myself as I had predicted I would be a month ago.

But, that’s the way it works for me. I’m very good at knowing how I will feel at some point in the future and totally incapable of stopping it.

Can I trade my superpower for something else?
Flying?
Teleportation?

I hope it's not another sword troupe curse, I had misplaced another now-married-troupe-member's invitation a number of times and
would forget the date or details, although I had it saved on my mac calendar…..Although all I had was a name on the date,
since so many events are all-day affairs or I've done them often enough I've memorized the time, etc.

Hope it turns up.

I didn't get an invite, so have no idea who it is. Congrats to them!

my superpower is being able to accidentally injure myself in the most creative ways. including things like walking into doors and tripping over nothing. although i'm pretty good at forgetting things too. i dont have much for precog.
