Useless precog

I often am able to predict things that I don’t see any way I should be able
to predict.
But, they are useless things.
At lunch I’ll be thinking about a Star Trek episode. That evening while
flipping channels I find it on. Things like that.
No winning lottery tickets, or things like that.
I’ve had various bad feelings before bad stuff happened. But, never in any
way that let me know what it would be to be prepared.
Today was an example. My wife headed off this morning and I won’t catch up
with her until tomorrow noon.
Before I headed to work today, my wife reminded me that I can use my iPhone
to find her iPhone and see where she is.
I spent the morning with my iDevices on the weather. Where did the snow
stop? Would it be OK for my flight tomorrow? What’s it looking like down
south?
At one point I said “I should check and see where they are.”
I activated the finder and said “look, they’ve gotten off the highway to
pick up Devon. Wait, they turned the wrong way at that intersection!”
So, I called the car.
They already knew and were turning around.
They were actually ½ hour early getting there, so I can’t say “well, you
knew it would be about then.”
I just had a feeling I should check just when they were making a wrong turn.
But, the information didn’t turn out to be very useful.
Typical.
