This week’s practice

Two weeks from now we’re doing a show in New Jersey where w have to have a couple of mass combats with a bunch of fights going on all at once.
So, that’s been the big focus for practice.

It was cloudy, but nice enough to practice outside.


I tried to keep this cricket from getting stepped on as it seemed to really want to go where the swords were. Blocking it with my foot only made it go up my pants leg.
But, I got it out and tossed him to the trees.


The woman who rents the practice space to us asked us to move a garden frame to here back garden, so once most folks were there we did.


As I said, most of our practice was doing the individual fights for the big melee or the whole thing itself.






At one point when my wife is fighting Casey, she throws a book at him. I’m not in favor of book abuse, but at least it is not one I’m overly fond of.
