Last week I had several different strange dreams.

Each of them at one point involved being in an underground room being held by a very young military person and my saying “this isn’t how this works”.

The dreams were not my normal kind of dream and I didn’t understand them at all.

This week my wife and I started watching the second season of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.

It was something I bought on a whim Sunday. We had seen the first season last year. I didn’t know the second was out, hadn’t read anything about it or seen any previews of it.

The season starts with the main character in an underground bunker captured by a very young military person who he keeps telling “this isn’t how it works”.

It was very strange to see something that was remarkably close to my dreams of the previous week on the television.

I’ve got no explanation for it. As I said, I had not even realized the show was available, much less what it would be about.
But, my dreams had a lot of elements from the show, a week before I saw it.

I will say that fits the Dirk Gently theme pretty well.

I do have a history of this sort of thing. Being able to predict totally useless things with high precision.

The only problem is, I don’t know when I’m predicting them, and I don’t see why there is any reason for it.
It’s never the stock market or lottery numbers.
