Connection problems

Don't know why.
I can still connected through my phone, but can't even get to the ISP's website. So, I think the problem is there, not somewhere in the wire between here and there.
The sad thing is I was good and worked on work all day, even with the new World Of Warcraft expansion only a few feet away from my work laptop.
Then, just after I said "9 hours is enough for today" and logged on, total connection loss.
I hope they fix it before Monday. Hopefully before Friday.
But, it is a big holiday here in the US...

Logic is pretty flowers that smell bad...

I know it is the logic board, the customer service guy knows it is the logic board, but we let him try a half and hour of different things to make sure.
It may still just be the video processor, but I don't think so.
We will get it back in a few days, hopefully good as new.
We'll see.

My laptop appears to have died.
I got the "please update your system files" message and hit "OK".
It came back with the "your hard drive is damaged and can not be repaired. Please erase it, reinstall your system files and restart the computer."
But I can't get the system instal disks to run on it.
So, I'm worried that the hard drive is toast.
Sad.
This is not the first time it has happened. So, I know the drill.
But, I am not happy about it.

The help folks at my ISP listed thier Sunday hours as 10AM to 10PM.
When the internet crashed for me yesterday, I tried to contact them at 5PM. Nothing by phone or email.
This morning they write back to me and say "You had six internet devices and you're only allowed two, that's why it crashed."
My wife and I have 3 computers, 3 iPad, 2 iPhones, 1 AppleTV and a wirelsss printer.
So, not six.
And, when it crashed I was off at sword practice and my wife was taking a nap as she wasn't feeling well. So, at most my wife's iPad connected.
Again, not six.
And, yesterday afternoon one of the firewalls detected someone trying to get past it.
I'm thinking my wirelss signal has been hacked. Guess I'll have to up the passwords tonight.

I have complained to LJ and they said it is a problem everyone using IOS on AT&T is having. They don't know if it is AT&T or LJ at fault. But, I've been using my iPad to do this for 2 1/2 years and there haven't been any IOS updates this week. So...
I do seem to be able to force it to post. But, not reply to comments or see locked posts, even my own.
It is very frustrating.
