fbhjr: (Hat of doom!)
In what I hope is an upswing in our luck, our apartment passed its inspection yesterday.
The manager said "it is perfect. No problems at all."

Today I bring the computer in for repairs. I think it needs a new hard drive.

I've got a test drive scheduled for the car I want.
(I think I may drop by my office across the street from the car place with a bunch of Daleks...)

And, I promised my wife a giant sea bug for dinner.

Hopefully it will all work out as well as the apartment.

The weather today is perfect. Low 70's and sunny with a light breeze.
When doing all the cleaning I did this spring, I was waiting for a day like this to do our bedroom so I could get a LOT of air through it for dust control.
I expected the day to be in June when we usually have some days like this. Well, late August and here is the June day.
I have a LOT of stuffed animals. (Technically some are my wife's, but with very few exceptions, they are just ones she let me give her.)
They collect dust better than our dust filter.
So, I've spent this morning holding them in the output of the fan on the porch giving them whacks to get the dust out.
There is now a grey streak on the porch from it all. But, the animals are clean...

You’re supposed to do it when it’s raining and you can’t open the windows, right?
No? Well I did it anyhow.
My wife’s been having allergy problems in the bedroom. (Yes, that’s what I call it. Allergies…)
So, we threw out the blamange and I cleaned up the rest.
5 loads of laundry and that still isn’t all of it.
Ah well, it’s a start.
At least the power is back on.
