Oh Danny boy
Aug. 29th, 2009 05:59 pmAlthough the remains of the hurricane Danny are going overhead today, my wife needed to go visit her costume maker for some measurements.
So, we set off in the rain.

Taunton is town prepared for invasion. Invasion by who isn’t clear. But, they have taken down the road signs for all the major intersections at the center of town.

So, this led to us spending a fair bit of time going around the town square hoping to find the right road.

We eventually hit a road marked with a name on the directions and got there.
While my wife was there, I drove off to a used bookstore about 2 miles away.
It is a nice enough place. It is not as nice as my favorite used bookstore. But, it was close to where we were going and my favorite isn’t near anything else I regularly go to.
When we came home, we finished cleaning the bed room. That means going through the walk in closet and getting rid of all the clothes we don’t wear any more.
4 large trash bags are ready to go to the donation center. Hopefully they’ll help folks out.
Both of us are now sneezing a lot due to the dust, but we got it done.

Date: 2009-08-31 02:32 am (UTC)The clubhouse at the Sportsman's club I was at over the weekend with the Legion, was all dusty, musty, and tons of smokers, as well as being deep in the wilderness of Western MA....Oh, and wet and soggy.
I used my one and only Benadryl Friday nite, and barely got though, sneezing and having to blow nose every other hour, seemingly...Saturday nite was a little better, but still sneezing now and again at home.
*rolls eyes*
ah well.
