That is so cool
Sep. 16th, 2012 08:06 pmWhen I was young you never saw birds of prey in Massachusetts.
Near my aunt’s cottage they set up stands for ospreys, but I didn’t see one there until I was in my 40’s.
Slowly over the years, the reintroduction to them has been working well.
But, I never expected there would be a time I’d see one sitting on the balcony next to my apartment chasing squirrels in our courtyard.

Sorry for the quality. It was taken through the screen of my porch from about 12 feet away.
By the time I could move to a place not covered with screen, it had gone off after another squirrel...

Mar. 17th, 2012 07:24 amIn what I hope is an upswing in our luck, our apartment passed its inspection yesterday.
The manager said "it is perfect. No problems at all."
Today I bring the computer in for repairs. I think it needs a new hard drive.
I've got a test drive scheduled for the car I want.
(I think I may drop by my office across the street from the car place with a bunch of Daleks...)
And, I promised my wife a giant sea bug for dinner.
Hopefully it will all work out as well as the apartment.
