For my birthday my wife suggested a virtual tour of the New York Public Library collection. I do love maps, so it was a good suggestion.

It had been rescheduled from my birthday, but I was still happy to do it this week.
It was very cool seeing maps from several hundred years.

It was strange to me the other day to be sitting in my living room, logged into work, and hear footsteps above me. After all, we live on the top floor.
I did see folks on the roof across the courtyard, so assumed they were working on all the roofs.

I didn’t actually see the folks above me, but I saw evidence of their presence.

Today was a very nice fall day, so my wife and I drove about doing errands.

I finally stopped on the hill into Worcester and got a view of it not through the fence.

It is a nice view.

This afternoon we packed for our impending trip.

It took some effort, but most of our stuff is packed.

From 2002 to 2019, we did the Ren Faire in Mobile Alabama this time of year. Last year and this we didn’t go.
We did ask someone we know how it went, and it sounds like it was better in years previous.
