Apartment advantage

One of the advantages of the apartment where my wife and I live is it has two bathrooms. And, they are connected to the water pipes of two different buildings in the complex.
So, this morning when I got up and no hot water came out of the bathroom off of our bed room (connected to the pipes of building G next to us) I walked over to the other bathroom (connected to the pipes of building H where we live) and had a nice hot shower.
I’m sure that even though it is one of the biggest holidays in the US, some plumber is going to be called to come fix the building G hot water heater.
And, I don’t have to call them, pay them or probably even see them as they’ll be over in G.

So, I am aware of the particular advantage you're referring to. Although, each apartment apparently has it's own
water heater, which is great but if one runs out, one has to wait for the water to re-fill and heat up. So,
showers going on in either bathroom will still have limited hot water. But, we have our own
heater/tank so I think that's good instead of having to share a single system between units.
