Strange dream

I dreamed I was in Vermont and had to get to one of the other towns. I was somewhere in the south eastern section and was going to the center of the state.
“You’ll never get over those mountains in your car,” a guy in town told me. “You’ll have to take the aqua way.”
I agreed and got a ticket.
There was something that looked like a water ride from an amusement park with upright stumps of logs sitting in it.
I gave my ticket to the man and sat on a log.
It began moving down the water track up towards the mountains.

As we went up the side of the mountain, the log remained vertical so I could sit on it without problem. The water path was only just wider than the log and the water seemed to be going up hill.
I had an excellent view as we went up the side of a mountain next to a river that was flowing over water falls and rapids to my side as I looked around from my log.

We got to the top and there was a junction in the water path. My log went to the left and began going down the side of the mountain towards my destination. The other path went up over the top to the north.
Dream ends

No idea what this one was about. We did drive by two ski areas this weekend going to the show we did. Maybe the ski lifts stuck in my subconscious?
But, why riding on upright logs?
No idea…

I thought about what you said about the show where you were sitting on the sled and suddenly it slid and you ended up on your back

I've been having some really weird dreams, too. But not weird enough I remember them after waking up

I did spend a lot of the weekend wishing I had a good place to sit down.
But, I’m not sure how that would translate to sitting on a log going up a mountain…

if I remember the photos, weren't you propped up against a snow berm before sliding on your back?

But anyway, I never said my dream analysis was any good :D
