Practice post snow
Apr. 26th, 2015 06:07 pmIt was a gray day, so we stopped at McDonald’s for lunch. We didn’t take a cab, but some folks did.

Then, off through the gray day.

We couldn’t use the whole garage because the car they have had a really flat tire and couldn’t be rolled out.

Although not sunny, it wasn’t raining, so we could work outside.

At there there were some signs of spring.

Sadly, one of these signs of spring was my swatting the first mosquito biting me so far this year.

We did spend a lot of time cleaning the swords from last week’s rain.

A good number of folks showed up for practice. That was very nice.

It was nice to have so many folks there. We wondered if the new guy even believed we had that many members.

On the way home we saw Orson the Polar Cola bear had a new outfit.

One of the other things we noticed as the hill on the ridge next to ours has had a lot of trees cut down. Not sure what’s up with that. Hopefully not a shopping mall or car dealership. We’ve got enough of those.

Date: 2015-04-27 01:49 pm (UTC)I noticed a lot of trees cut down by the side of the highway going and coming back from practice as well. I have not seen the deforestation near you, but it does not bode well.
