My boss made a point to take me aside and tell me he appreciated all the extra work I’ve done recently.
I have been doing a lot more than my mechanical engineering management stuff.
So, it is nice to be noticed and to have it thanked.

Holly and I had a very nice anniversary.
We went to O’Connor’s. I’d say we had a nice meal, but that would be redundant as we were at O’Connor’s and that is always nice.
I helped her buy some stuff for her trip to Canada this weekend. (I am sad I won’t be going as I haven’t seen Lee in a long time myself. And, they live in a beautiful part of Canada.)
Then she came back to the apartment and stayed the night. (Which the therapist told me not to get my hopes up for, so it was an extra bonus.)

So, it was very nice. I’m very glad we spent the time together.

I have sent her a proposal for moving back in. I am in no way saying that our issues are gone. But, I don’t see how we can learn to live together if we’re living apart.
If it could always be like last night, it wouldn’t be a problem. But, that’s unrealistic.
Maybe if it is just like last night more often?
For now, I still have hope.
