Today was a beautiful day. So, after I hauled some more stuff over to storage, we stopped at a local pizza place and brought the food over to Dean Park for a picnic.

There appeared to be some sort of lake monster in the pond there, so we kept clear and sat on the bank.

There were a number of things in bloom. Nice to look at, but not good for my allergies.

The trees were at it too.

There were lots of birds around but the only ones of size were the geese.

The bees were out and seemed quite large to me.

While my wife read some, I took a walk around the pond. The path goes through the forest. It looks like it was paved once, but has fallen into disrepair.

Roads falling into disrepair being a sign of the collapse of society, right??

Despite society collapsing in the woods, my wife managed to read on her iPad without problem on the other side of the lake.

It looks like there was some graffiti sprayed on rocks. But silver paint on grey rocks doesn’t make for good graffiti.

Of course, the government blames the collapse of society on dog poop.

After all, it “degrades our town” and this sign was right at the entrance to the once paved road. Therefore it must be the dog poop that broke up that pavement. Right?

OooOOh! so according to the sign, Adult hoomans are immune to diseases trasmitted from dog poo.

and no, it's not the vegetation growing that is causing the degradation of the pavement, nooo, that would be crazy-talk!
