fbhjrIt was very nice to spend the weekend with my wife.
She was getting her car repaired Saturday while I was off at an all day church meeting. Since she likes a garage here in Shrewsbury, I let her stay at the apartment while the work was being done.
It was very nice to come back from the church meeting and have her sitting in the living room. Having the home not be empty when I got back. Seeing her look up at me and smile.
Then we went off, had some dinner, then went to sword practice. Folks seemed to be on their game Saturday night and we seemed to get some good work done in a fairly short time.
It was very nice having my wife stay over Saturday night. It was the best I’ve slept since she left. (I understand her allergies bothered her, and I’m sorry about that. I would have run the air filter if I had thought of it.)
Sunday we drove to the job together and then performed at the Big E.
It was all very nice. The only sad part was she went back to her friends at the end of the day.
I understand why she did it. We have many unresolved issues. And, she still has to resolve what she’s going to do about her boyfriend.
But, it was nice having her home again, even if only for one night.
