The marketing department here at work has done something I think is nice.
In addition to starting a new recycling program for a larger percentage of trash (not just white paper) they have bought carbon offsets for all of the office staff from http://www.terrapass.com

I think that’s nice. Granted they’re doing it to impress customers. But, doing something good for the planet is still nice. I’d rather they impressed customers that way then something stupid.
