I normally wake up at 6:00. This morning I woke up and saw it was 5:55 and decided to get up anyhow.
When I got out of the shower, my wife asked me "What are you doing taking a shower at 3AM?
It had been 2:55, not 5:55.
Sad.
I tried to go back to sleep, but no luck.
Ah well, what can you do?

One of the hems on one set of work pants had let go. So, the other day I sat down to fix it. I made sure I had the right leg, checked twice. Only turned the leg that needed it inside out and sewed it up.

Sitting here at work, I noticed one much shorter than the other. My first thought was that my stitching didn't last long. Then, I noticed that I had made the short one shorter and left the long one too long.
I KNOW I checked. Several times.
This is very frustrating as there is just no way for me to get around this. Checking doesn't work because it looks right in my brain.

I wrote a post about how much I was not liking doing the performance reviews for my department. How when I was young my father told me this was the worst part of being an engineering manager, and on this he was not wrong.

But, then I pasted when I should have copied, copied when I should have pasted and didn't save when I should have and it all got erased.
I have yet to find a day I'm happy with my dyslexia, but there are days it causes me more trouble than others.
