This was the first of two days at sea. I think they needed to adjust the timing of our arrival some so there was a scheduled “cruise down the Lysefjord” which took about 3 hours each direction.
It starts when you enter that specific fjord under the bridge.

It was raining harder than the photos capture, but you can see the two lines of where it starts and stops under the bridge.

It’s a pretty trip.

I guess this bit where it sticks out is famous.

There are a bunch of waterfalls too. Some very loud.

We did still have breakfast, lunch and tea while in the fjord.

I am glad that the antibiotics are working and my wife is feeling better.

We wondered about this farm on the side. I guess it is abandoned and has been taken over by the heritage ministry.

After about 3 hours we got to the end, turned around and came back.

This is that rock wedged between two cliffs way up high. Sorry I didn’t get a better photo, but the sun was right down on us.

There seemed to be some drama with the staff at lunch. You can tell by the manager’s palm to his head…

But, the ship kept sailing, so not too bad.

This little boat seemed to want to do nothing but cross the wake of larger ships and cheer as they bounced into the air.

That’s a tiny lighthouse.

As we went back past the bridge I saw how the tunnel goes right onto the bridge. Must have taken some work building it that way.

Then, out of the small fjord into the bigger ones, the finally out to see about dinner time.

I practiced my photo taking…

I wish I had seen this list before I went ashore in Norway. But, I’ll have it now if I ever go back.
