Spielberg chasing me

Last night when I got home from work I decided to go for a bike ride. My
wife was off doing troupe stuff, I need to go to the bank, pharmacy and
super market. Didn’t need much at any of them, so I could do it on the
bike.
I set off and it was sunny and warm. No problem at all.
I am very leery of riding the bike on the road where I live as it is very
busy. But, I managed it and got to the pharmacy.
When I came out, it was still nice and blue back towards the house.

But, the other direction looked like someone was getting ready to open the
ark of the covenant somewhere in Shrewsbury.

I quickly went to the bank, then began to pedal back up the hill.
As I’ve talked about before, I live on a ridge that runs North-South
through my town. My home is about 7/8 of the way up the ridge and the
market is on top. Normally I ride back and forth along the ridge and try
not to get off of it. But, the bank and pharmacy were at the bottom.
So, I could ride up the main road I live on. Heavy traffic and I’d have to
go all the way to the top and turn around to get to where I live.

Or, go up the side road. Steeper hill, but you get rid of it all at once
and not many cars.

I went up the steeper road without as many cars. Maybe that photo doesn’t
look so steep. But, at the top, it looks steep to me.

As I pedaled along the ridge back to my apartment, the wind picked up and
the rain started. So, I went home, got my car and drove to the store. I
don’t like wasting gas to go a ½ mile round trip. But, I don’t think it
would have been safe to ride the bike in the downpour that hit.

Whatever you do, don't look directly at it, shut your eyes! :D
I think the Borders parkinglot and the Blackstone Shoppes lots would be excellent places to watch storms coming in. (of course, would not want to stay for long)
