Wales part 5
Apr. 15th, 2014 12:59 pmAer Lingus has WIFI on the transatlantic flights, even out over the ocean. Or, they say they do. We'll see how that works our. It is very futuristic to me to do this...
Anyhow Friday in Caerleon...
Across the street from the amphitheater we had been was the Roman barracks.

There isn't too much of them left as only the foundations are there.

But, you can still clearly see where things went and the sizes of the rooms.
Not big and crowded.

There wasn't all that much to see, But, it was still cool.

Then, over to the museum in the vain hope it was not full of school kids.
It was, but they were well behaved and it was still nice. It was a small museum, but a good bit of stuff, and a garden.

There were even benches.

That was it for our Roman time. It was time to get back to the future and do modern castles from the 1000's.

I ran out of steam after two posts. It is more difficult on the iPad where I can't do them in batches like at home.
