Last weekend I took out the trash and had to sit and cough for about 15 minutes afterwards.
This weekend, I carried 5 loads of laundry down and up to the washer and drier 3 floors below and only had to rest and cough a little bit.
That’s progress. I’m much less sick, much less weak than I was.
Still cough.
To go back to work I’ve got to have no symptoms, get a test that says I have no active virus in me, and get a note from my doctor saying it is OK.
Of course, working 50 hours at home this week was not a problem for my company. (I know, but it is down from the normal amount.)
So, progress is being made. Hopefully it will continue.

Date: 2021-01-10 09:28 pm (UTC)Sorry about the cough. I tried to ask an ER doc about that with my Dad last week and they just said it was part of the virus and mentioned a low white blood cell count. The did a chest X-ray and patted him on the head and sent us home. I cant find out how long the cough hangs on...or what I can can be done to build up white blood cells aside from eating certain foods. If I fine out anything I will share.
