Driving south to Florida

After our class on sword and buckler at the local college, we set off for Florida.
Our first stop was to get our guest star, while my wife continued south.


Then, south ourselves.


We caught up with my wife’s car in New York. There was a snack exchange.


Then, past New York City and into New Jersey.


I was glad the worst traffic was going the other way.


We were still in New Jersey when the sun set.


But, we came to the end of it eventually.


Then, through Maryland and into Virginia.


The Carolinas were very foggy.


The truck stops seemed appropriately stocked.


This is the Waffle House where I accidentally put my fingers up someone’s nose.


Finally, about 24 hours after we set off, we got to the faire site.


Then, setting up.


After you’ve been up for that long, you start to imagine things. Like that the car driving next to you doesn’t have anyone at the wheel.


Despite ghost cars, we went off to pizza.


Some of us might have been a bit too tired to appreciate it.
