Well, that’s that then
Today at 9AM the company management announced we were going out of business.
Today.
Before lunch.
Everyone. One HR and one manager will remain until Wednesday to close things out.
Two weeks severance. The folks in January got a month. Some folks are pretty mad about that.
I’m already on the phone with my old boss from the last place who’s pitching me consulting for one of his clients. We’ll see how that goes.

Strange symmetry
Another one of my crowns came out last night.
That makes 4 of the 16 I had done a year ago.
And, it remains strangle symmetrical. The first was my canine tooth on the left side. Then, the same tooth on the right side a month later.
In December it was second to the back on the left.
Now, second to back on the right.
I hope I don’t go through it with all 16…

Sad
I just heard another friend of mine just died.
And, another friend’s mother died over the weekend.
I know folks die all the time. It’s the one thing that everyone does.
But, the last few months seem to have had an awful amount of it.
And, that makes me sad.
