GCRF Show day 1

Saturday morning dawned and everyone was happy and excited to go to the show and perform.


So, off to the show we went. We got there nice and early so folks could practice, practice, practice.



I went and got fruit to cut at the show.


We started with the historical show.







Then we had 5 whole minutes after that, we had our first pirate act. Sword fights where the audience throws plastic fruit at the loser of the fight.







We had 2 1/2 hours between the next batch of shows.




Then our big hour long show.
It started with another sword fighting and fruit round.








We had another 2 1/2 hour gap and then our fire show.




















After the fire show we went off to Sonny’s Barbecue. It is one of the few places I know where you say "table for 27" and they say "OK, let us put it together for you" instead of "Oh my God! Are you serious!".


Jose’s brother and family came to the show and joined us for dinner. This made Jose very happy as his brother living 1300 miles away means they don’t see each other often.

The weather looks amazing Frank - it must have been so nice to get away from the snow and cold for a few days.

I have to say - you all look so fantastic in your costumes and such happiness in performing.

It was 20 and sunny both days.
That was very, very nice after this winter of -20...
