Snowy Saturday

I woke up this morning to see snow on the ground.


The original forecast for the storm was it would hit about sunset. So, the fact it showed up at sunrise meant some changes to our plans.
Most of what we were going to do was cancelled as we didn’t want to drive about much.


We cancelled the extra sword and fire practice. We cancelled going to our friend’s daughter’s birthday party.
But, one thing did get my out driving in the snow.


I had to go get my haircut.

The snow wasn’t so bad. I even drove behind a car from Florida that didn’t have trouble.


I am glad to see the flora in winter is coming to the museum soon.

That will be a nice change.

But, I was happy to get home and stay there for the rest of the day.


I took my wife’s Subaru out for the all wheel drive. I didn’t even clean off my car.


By sunset when the storm was going to start it was winding down.
Just as glad we spent most of the day at home.

I know it's a total pain and a lot of work and it's cold and inconvenient - but it is SOOOO pretty!
