What happened here?

When I got to work today I noticed the cover to my right back light broken
on my car.

I didn’t notice it before, but that hardly means much.

I don’t think I backed into anything without noticing. It’s hard to think
that someone hit me without doing more damage. Especially up that high.
Maybe something fell on it, but I can’t think what and there is no sign of
broken plastic inside the light assembly.

Not sure what happened. But, I’m not happy about it.
We’re expecting a big snow storm tomorrow. Don’t want it to fill up with
snow.
I guess I better get it fixed.

My bike has places on it where the paint has been scratch/chipped off, and I can't figure out how because I am super careful with it....so yeah, I can empathize. S:

Every now and then, I note new scratches on my car, too. Haven't had a light broken yet, but I have blown out my lower front grille thanks to some rabbit? cat? I dunno on a two-lane 55 MPH road that offered no better options.

It always makes me think 2-3 times 'bout getting a New new Mid-Life crisis car. How much time will I spend ruminating over 'ruining' it?

Ah well. Not the worst problem we can have, right?
Doesn't make it suck less, but....
