Maybe it was hanging out with the Vikings last night, but I’ve been
thinking about the many times raiders have come sweeping into civilization
and the trouble it has caused.

The question is, does it really matter who those raiders are?

If where you lived was going to be overrun by someone, is there one you’d
prefer?

vikings and saxons - Because now that I have an understanding of (viking) Honor and their pension for fighting hard because they don't know if it's their day to die, etc., I can at least anticipate that and work with it. Saxons, I can fake my way through the language (I hope), and similar sort of thing. Maybe even get the vikings and saxons to fight themselves over my country, maybe even sort of meld together in some crazy bastard culture with some crazy bastardized language and we can all have a bbq.

Zombies - it would be a horrible thing to live with, but, we all know how to deal with zombies…

Dinos - Also know how to deal with them…Maybe even pull a "How to Train Your Dragon", afterall we have two different manuals written we can utilize….The training manual as mentioned, and the other book about a utopia with dinos.

Or, just have another huge rock do all the work again…Just as long as it's fairly quick & painless, I don't want any lingering apocalypse being chased down by a bunch of leather-clad whack jobs wearing hockey masks and shit trying to chase me down in hacked together vehicles on a desert plain, thankyouverymuch
