Summer’s last light

In 2 hours and 22 minutes (as I write this) the sun will cross the equator.
For me here in the north that means the end of summer.
Summer is not my favorite time of year. Fall, which is about to start, is my favorite time of year.
But, I still miss it being warm enough to go swimming. And, it being light when I go to and from work.
I was a bit sad to see the sun leaving.


But, at least this year I didn’t have to chase it in a plane:
