Minimal practice
Sep. 21st, 2014 04:02 pmI know autumn doesn’t officially start until Tuesday. But, it has seemed a lot like it lately.
Today, however, was much warmer, cloudy and damp.
So, even if it felt a bit like summer, the birds are still headed south.

We were a bit worried when we showed up for practice and no one else did.

I hate taking swords out in the rain if they don’t get used.

John did eventually show up, which was good.

We went over falchion, rapier and long swords in preparation for the show in 2 weeks.

With only three of us practice went fast and we headed home early.

The leaves are starting to turn in anticipation of autumn.

You can clearly tell where the trees have water and where they don’t.

If they have water, they turn, if they’re dry they stay green.
We were surprised about Orson never getting his sunglasses and flowers for the summer.

Maybe the university where my wife works being just behind him and their new "no drinking" policy might have influenced the bear.
