Kidnapped by Methodists

It looked like rain this morning, so I didn’t ride the bike to church. As I walked to church, one of the older couples saw me and stopped to offer me a ride. It’s only ½ mile to church (at the local Masonic Lodge as we don’t own a building), but I decided to ride with them anyhow.
I liked the service today and thought the sermon about how doing the right thing often got you in trouble was a good one. One of the other members snored through about half of it. Ah well.
I do like our church. Sometimes they have puppets.

That’s a blurry photo of our pastor dancing with a puppet a couple of weeks ago when they let the kids lead the service.
We’ve moved practice for the troupe back to Sunday. We had a big talk with everyone who will do it about SCRF. We decided we could do good shows and get going in time for it. So, we dedicated practice to that.

It may not look like much yet, but it will be better in the dark.
(Remember when I said “it will be better in the sand”? It was, wasn’t it?)
