Practice

As much as I don’t like the spring because of the plant sex, it is nice to see the green come back and the stream in the courtyard be water not ice.


But, that plant sex keeps going.


I still have a bit of the cold I had, and my allergies are nasty, but off to practice we went.


The people who rent us the place to practice have added a bench to their yard. Very nice.


As the last two shows we did had rain, the first order of business was to clean all the swords.


But, of course, we did sword fight too.










That palusbuteo, he’s so silly…


As there were only 4 of us there, we ran through things fairly quickly and were on the way home an hour earlier than normal.

Black shirt lady is my wife. Devon (the like a boss guy) was supposed to be kicking her in the back at that maneuver. He just isn't the best at that particular move...

Do you use something special to clean the swords after it's rained, or?

We usually sand them down with sand paper and the spray them with a light oil (based on fish oil) to stop them from rusting.
