I’m off

In less than half an hour I’ll pick up ravena_kade at the train
station across from where I work, drive home and meet palusbuteo and then we’ll take the rolling speed trap south to
Florida.

My wife, blue_micha, morgan_lafaye and the new guy
are just getting to Washington DC now, which puts them about 30% of the way
there.

I had hope that when the first car stops for the night we can catch up with
them a bit. But, the weather near Boston has changed from “sunny and cold”
to “random snow with white out conditions”. That and the bright red car
are going to slow us down some.

The weather report for the show seems to be holding at sunny and warm. So,
I have high hopes for that.
Sadly it is also holding for driving home in a snow storm Monday and
Tuesday. Hopefully it will be wrong on that one.

Hopefully I’ll get home early enough Tuesday to get some rest and have the
time to catch up on all I will miss here.
We’ll see.

The police give more speeding tickets to red cars. So I needed to be careful about how fast I drive.
