You’d think I’d learn

Some of you might remember my story about picking up Xacto blades with a magnet:

Well, today I needed rubber bands. They were mixed in my little bin with thumb tacks, bands and blades. (Sorry the picture is fuzzy, my finger hurt.)


So, guess what happens when you pull up on that rubber band in the center?
OK, you guessed that I shot a blade into the tip of my finger.
Did you also guess it sliced the rubber band doing it, therefore rendering the whole thing pointless?

The good news is, I managed to get a rubber band out and was able to restring my office catapult.
