I sent an Iron Man e-card

Today my mother turns 82.
I sent her an Iron Man e-card saying “Iron Man 3 opens on your birthday!
That’s great!”
If she hadn’t pulled that stunt with the shed last month she might have
gotten a better e-card.
But, that’s the highest I’d go, so I guess not much loss for her.

If she lives as long as her mother, she’s got 11.321 years left. She’s
already 6.535 older than her dad was. And, she only has 3.359 to reach the
age my dad was when he died.

As I’ve said often enough before, I wish things were different. But, I
think I did my best to make them different, and she didn’t keep her end of
it.
There is no reason for me to stick my hand in that meat grinder when it is
100% avoidable.

Some time this weekend, my wife and I will go see Iron Man…
