#18) A question or comment people should never make to you
There are lots of things that people say that annoy me. A list of them would be very long.
Most of the things that really get to me are when people think they are better than other people for some stupid reason: skin color, education, language they speak, gender, where they came from, or any of the multitude of other reasons people think that.
And, what really gets to me is when people think they don’t have to contribute as much as others because of that.
I can’t deny I am a (by world average) rich white guy who was born in the USA in a well to do area with lots of advantages. That is simply fact. It is an accident of birth.
It does not in any way make me a better, or worse, person.
What I do with my life is what makes me better or worse.
I know plenty of people who started with all the good stuff, or more than I did, but are rotten people who make the world a worse place. I’m not talking about recycling or wind power or anything like that.
I’m talking about them being mean to people. To not helping people when asked. To take more than their share and think they have a right to it.
I’ve known brilliantly good people who help, share and make the world a better place.
And I’ve know folks good and bad from all over the world, all sorts of economic backgrounds, genders and colors.
I’m not saying there aren’t certain cultural leanings. There are.
But, that’s not the same thing as if individuals treat each other.
And, I don’t like lumping people together.
