Charging dragons

Scattered around out bedroom are several glow in the dark dragons.


(The purple one glows green. Not what I had expected when I bought it.)


And, a glow in the dark Godzilla finger puppet that sits at the top of our book rack.


We also have some laser pointers of different colors.

We’ve found that the dragons ignore the red and green lasers, even though the green one is by far the brightest.


But, we did find they respond VERY well to the blue one.


Normally they have dimmed to the point of not seeing them an hour after we shut off the lights. But, charge them up with the blue laser? They were still glowing at 5 the next morning!

So, if you need to charge a dragon, use a blue laser!

I wonder if the longer glow with the blue lasers has something to do with the light spectrum.

I think you need to make the "air quotes" thing and say it in an eeeeevill way, like LAY-ZZZERS....
