One month out

Today we headed into the last month before GCRF. And, we’re trying to get all of the fights down.

Youth and energy can count for a lot.

But, older and tricky also has advantages.

In good news, I’ve booked out hotel for the show. It will be the same one we’ve stayed at for the last several years. We’ve been staying there since it opened. It’s not too far from the faire site and easy to get to and from the show.
I’ve also booked my flight down.
This is the 11th GCRF and I have performed at all of them.
About half the time I’ve flow and half I’ve driven.
Of all of those, this is the only time I’ll be flying down south by myself.
I’ve flown all sorts of places by myself. I’ve flown to China by myself. (And, liked it better than when I flew there with someone else.)
But, it’s the first time I’ve flown on a troupe trip by myself.
And, that is a bit sad for me in a way I have trouble describing.
Sort of a “last of his kind” sort of feel to it.
But, one way or another, we’re doing the show. The contract is signed and in, and I’ve paid in advance for the hotel.
