Annual Leaf Day

Every fall there seems to be one day when all the leaves fall on my car. I was afraid I missed it this year when in Mobile, but, no, I didn’t.


I thought they’d blow away as I drove off. Most did. But, one just wouldn’t move.


At the stop light I reached out to take it off and found out why. It had been frozen there.


And, that ice ghost of it stayed on the car for a while.

I did ditch it at the gas station as it was in my line of vision.

The pictures don’t really do it justice. It was an ice mirror image of the leaf. You could see the lines and such in it. Very cool. (Yeah, OK, ice usually is...)
