Bad drivers day?

This morning on my way into work, a truck in the right lane in front of my
put on its right turn signal and stopped.
As I continued by it in the left lane, I thought it was just taking a slow
right turn.
Then, another truck shot out in front of it into the left lane where I was
driving.
I had the choice of slamming into the second truck, or going into the
oncoming traffic lane.
Good news, the oncoming lane was empty.
At 16 ½ years old, that coupe can still move pretty fast when it has to.
It had to.

Coming back from lunch, I was turning left at a stop light.  A man going
straight through beeped at me for not yielding to him.
While I totally agree that MA traffic laws say the person going straight
has the right of way, his going straight out of the left hand turn lane has
surprised me, which is why I wasn’t yielding.

And, at the traffic light just down the road from where I work, I saw a man
using his elbows to honk his horn, so he didn’t have to put down his phone
or stop playing with the radio.  And, he was honking because the man in
front of him wasn’t willing to drive in front of oncoming traffic.
Finally the honkee panicked and did cut off a car, which came very near
causing a pile up.

I’m hoping that it is all out of their system now and the drive home will
be OK…

Well tomorrow they say it'll snow, so unfortunately the first snow brings out the crazies and morons in force.

There's a reason why a limit my driving in MA as much as I do - I'm used to watching out for bad drivers, but you've got a whole new brand of crazy going on down there..
